Installing Windows 3.1 in VMware Player

While looking for a copy of Windows 98 on MSDN to install some old software (compatibility mode under Windows 7 didn’t work), I came across Windows 3.11. Installing it was a little tricky though......

Experience gets you far, but good tools and services keep you moving in the right direction. Here are some of my favorites:

DigitalOcean is a versatile, affordable cloud provider. You can serve up a blog (like this one!), deploy a wiki, try out ansible, or do something much bigger. They host the annual Hacktoberfest too.

Cloudinary is an image and video management platform, which freed me from my dependency on YouTube to host videos on this site.

Backblaze offers an affordable, unlimited, set-and-forget backup service. They saved me from the click of death a couple years ago, and I've been a grateful customer ever since.
